Dr Basharat Hussain
Dr Hussain previously worked in Beaudesert as a rural GP for many years. He has extensive experience in skin cancer detection and treatment which he started during his time at a skin clinic in Beaudesert. He also sees patients for all other medical issues. He also is happy to discuss with you and prescribe medical marijuana as an alternate treatment for chronic pain, anxiety or other reasons, if its indicated.
Dr Hussain, or 'Dr Basha' as his regular patients call him, is known for his approachable and easy going manner, and his sense of humour. Kindly contact our clinic to book to see Dr Hussain.
Dr Ali Gilani
General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS (UQ)

Dr Ali Gilani completed his studies at the University of Queensland, St Lucia, having grown up in Brisbane. He then worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and QEII Hospitals after graduation. He trained for two years following this at Logan Hospital, working in a wide variety of specialities, such as Respiratory, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and ENT, ED, Medicine, Paediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He has a special interest in treating ear and hearing conditions having worked in ENT at Logan hospital. He is able to operate ear microsuction for gentle removal of ear wax and treatment of ear infections. Dr Gilani performs full body skin checks regularly, which is a thorough top to toe examination to look for skin cancers. He also regularly performs on-the-spot and complex treatment for skin cancers and skin lesions. He has also completed the Sydney Child Health program, which is further training in paediatric and childrens health.

Dr Joveria Javaid
General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS, AMC

Dr Jo, brings with her years of experience of looking after patients from all walks of life. She graduated from the perstigious Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore. She has worked in a number of fields including cardiology, respiratory, neurology, general surgery and ENT. She has previously worked in busy metro hospitals in Melbourne, and also rural Victoria in Dandenong Hospital, Latrobe regional Hospital and Wonthaggi. She was involved in teaching at Monash University Faculty of Medicine for 5 years.
She is also a practicing skin cancer doctor. She has completed further training in skin cancer medicine and holds advanced certificates in that granted from Bond University / Health Cert Australia. She continues to practice simple to complex skin surgery, as well as regular skin checks. She also has a special interest in womens health, and can offer pregnancy care, contraceptive advice and implanon insertion/removal.
Dr Jo is currently not accepting any further chronic pain management patients, as she is attending to her regular pateints.

Dr Fariha Ahmed
General Practitioner, MD (QLD)
Dr Fariha grew up in Auckland, NZ, before moving to Brisbane in 2014. She completed her medical studies at the prestigious Bond University in Gold Coast. This was followed by 2 years working at Logan Hospital working in specialties such as Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Emergency and Medicine. She has a special interest in women’s health, paediatrics and ENT. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and travelling.
Dr Fariha has recently joined our medical team and is welcoming new patients.
Dr Ruha Khan
Dr Ruha Khan sees all variety of patients. She has a special interest in womens and paediatric health care. Dr Khan does not offer full body skin checks.
Tayla Sonneman
Tayla is our Practice Nurse. She is available 6 days a week. Tayla has recently joined our clinic after spending most of her nursing career in the aged care sector. She performs majority of our vaccinations, dressings and helps us a great deal with managing all of our patients and delivering excellent quality health care. She is a mum herself, and loves to see all manner of patients and treating children and adults. She also assists our doctors with skin surgeries and other procedures.
Dr Pi Song
General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS (UQ)

Dr Pi Songsiritat is an experienced GP that has joined our team. He completed his medical studies at the prestigious University of Queensland, in St Lucia, Brisbane. He has a wealth of experience working in Emergency Medicine in Brisbane before he completing his General Practice qualifications in Queensland. He has worked at Ipswich Hospital in the Emergency Department as a registrar. He worked for a few years at Logan Hospital prior to becoming a GP. He is able to perform implanon and other procedures like that. He can also check ears, and provide ear cleaning via microsuction. He lives in the Sunnybank area with his wife and 2 young daughters and enjoys gardening as his hobby.
